Ph.D. Thesis
My Ph.D. thesis addresses the application of ant algorithms to solve the routing problem in fixed telecommunication networks. With the continuing growth of the Internet and other communication networks, there is a strong need for routing algorithms that can distribute data traffic across multiple paths and quickly adapt to changing conditions. Algorithms based on swarm intelligence, such as the ant algorithms, are well applicable in this field, as they do not need any supervision and are naturally distributed.
Research interests
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Data Mining
I am particularly interested in methods inspired by biology, such as SWARM Intelligence and Reinforcement Learning. I also have experience with other machine learning methods (both supervised and unsupervised), in particular in applications like business intelligence and data analysis.
I have deep knowledge in data mining, analytical modeling and advanced statistics methods. I take part in creating business solutions in the domains of analytical CRM.
I have practical experience in designing and developing analytical data bases, and building data mining models for banks (data analysis with the usage of statistics and data mining techniques, constructing churn models, propensity models, client segmentations, etc.).
